"On Saturday, 9.19.2009, at about 10pm, my boyfriend and I were riding my 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 home from the Flood Run when my bike suffered a flat rear tire on northbound Highway 61 about 10 miles south of Hastings. It was dark and we were in the middle of nowhere (according to my travel experience). Within 2 minutes a car had stopped and the occupants asked if we needed help. I told them the problem and they pulled the car onto the shoulder with us.
The folks in the car introduced themselves as Tim & Shelley, owners of Cannon Falls Honda-Yamaha, and offered their assistance. (All I could do was look at my boyfriend and exclaim, "The Lord certainly DOES work in mysterious ways!)
Tim & Shelley left, but returned about 30 minutes later with a pick up truck, into which Tim steered my disabled bike, and a loaded 2008 Honda Gold Wing which they offered to us to continue our ride home to Brooklyn Park.
Tim & Shelley then trucked my bike in to their dealership where repairs could be made on the following Tuesday.
Words cannot express my undying gratitude to Tim & Shelley for their gift of kindness to 2 complete strangers. I (we) shall never forget their act of selflessness and my word of mouth will direct others to Cannon Falls Honda-Yamaha.
